Prakriti in Ayurveda means:

Your natural physical, mental, and emotional makeup present since birth. It is formed during pregnancy based on:

Your prakriti usually does not change throughout life.

Types of Prakriti

Based on the three doshas:
Dosha

Calm
Most people have a combination:
Vata-Pitta, Pitta-Kapha, Vata-Kapha, or rarely Tridoshic (balanced)

1) Vata Prakriti

• Dry skin
• Cold hands and feet

Mental/Emotional:
• Fast thinker
• Creative
• Anxiety,
overthinking

Digestive:
• Irregular appetite
• Gas, bloating

Sleep:
• Light and disturbed

Best Lifestyle:
Warm food, oil massage, routine, grounding activities.

2) Pitta Prakriti

Physical:
•Medium build
•Warm body temperature
•Sensitive or acne-prone skin

Mental/Emotional:
•Intelligent, determined
•Gets angry or irritated quickly

Digestive:
•Strong appetite
•Sensitive to spicy food

Sleep:
•Good but may wake from heat or stress

Best Lifestyle:
Cooling diet, avoid spicy/fried food, calm environment, meditation.

3 Kapha Prakriti

Physical:
• Strong, well-built body
• Weight gain easily
• Smooth, glowing skin

Mental/Emotional:
• Calm, patient
• Slow but steady learner

Digestive:
• Slow metabolism
• Tendency to congestion and allergies

Sleep:
• Deep and long

 Best Lifestyle:
Warm, light meals, spices, regular exercise, no overeating.
